Football Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short

After flying high against Puckett last Friday, Pisgah came back down to earth. The Dragons were dealt a 35-6 loss at the hands of the Richland Rangers on Friday. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Even if they lost, Pisgah's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Lane Prestage with two. He has been hot for a while, having also posted eight or more total tackles the last 17 times he's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pisgah fell to 4-1. As for Richland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Pisgah and Richland will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Dragons will challenge rival Southeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Richland is set to face off against their familiar foe Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
