Enloe's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Hillside Hornets. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jakob McCaleb tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, William Loyek was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Jacob Ly'Jordan was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Enloe's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Hillside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Enloe is taking a road trip to square off against Broughton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillside, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m.
