Basketball Recap: Groveport-Madison's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Groveport-Madison had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Lancaster Golden Gales 44-41. The Cruisers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Gales, too.

Groveport-Madison's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lancaster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Groveport-Madison will be home for the holidays to greet Teays Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster will take on Pickerington Central in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
