Amity Regional had won two straight games and Lily Simons did her part to make it three on Friday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lyman Hall Trojans for which the team can thank Simons, who had 14 digs and eight aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-11.

When it comes to explaining why Lyman Hall lost, don't look at Lauren Aitkenhead. Despite the final result, she had 17 assists and three digs.

Amity Regional's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Lyman Hall, they moved to 11-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
