It's about time: Greenwood finally caught a break after 3 consecutive losses. Everything went their way against Barren County on Friday as they made off with a 28-7 victory. That result was just more of the same for Greenwood, who also won the last time these teams played.

Greenwood started the game off right with 21 first-half points. Barren County came up with 7 to make it 21-7 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Greenwood in the second half and held Barren County to 0 points. The win bumped Greenwood's record up to 2-3. The loss dropped Barren County's record to 1-4.

Greenwood will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Bowling Green. As for Barren County, they will face off against Ballard Memorial.
