Basketball Recap: Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Takes a Loss

Drayton/Valley-Edinburg was the 50-48 winner over St. John when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. John Woodchucks on Saturday. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

St. John got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashton Parisien out in front who went 9 for 15 en route to 24 points in addition to five assists and three steals. The contest was Parisien's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madden Parisien, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals.

Drayton/Valley-Edinburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. John, their record now sits at 4-8.
