Volleyball Recap: Legacy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Legacy lost against Basic back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Longhorns fell 3-1 to the Wolves.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-28, 25-20, 25-21.

Brinley Danczak was nothing short of spectacular for Basic: she had five digs and four aces. What's more, Danczak racked up 21 assists, the most she's had over her last six matchups. Another player making a difference was Ava Rivera, who had ten digs and two aces.

Legacy suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-12. As for Basic, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Southeast Career Tech on the 25th. As for Basic, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Boulder City on the 25th.
