Melrose's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Wilmington Wildcats 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-9, 25-11.
Sabine Wenzel paced Melrose's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wenzel got some help from Sadie Smith and her 19 assists.
