Hondo took down New Mexico School for the Deaf 104-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Lalo Lerma caught 4 passes for 98 yards during the win.
Hondo's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Billy Candelaria has thrown for 425 yards this season, while Lerma has 12 catches for 190 yards.
The marquee game in 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) this week will be the clash between the Eagles and Reserve. Hondo comes into the matchup ranked third in the state, while the Mountaineers ranks 19th.
Vaughn made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 705 from 809. The improvement was largely due to a 45-39 victory over Animas last week.
