Basketball Recap: Bassett Skates Past Ganesha with Ease

Bassett posted their biggest win since December 17, 2024 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ganesha Giants 87-32. This was payback for the Olympians, who suffered a 54-50 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bassett's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for Ganesha, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bassett will face off against Workman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Workman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 games -- so hopefully Bassett likes a good challenge. As for Ganesha, they will square off against Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ganesha is facing Pomona at the right time seeing as Pomona is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
