Soccer Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Takes a Loss

If Batesburg-Leesville was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of American Leadership Academy two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Batesburg-Leesville fell 4-2 to Pelion on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pelion this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 0-0 back in March.

Avelardo Cabrera and Angel Gerardo scored both of Batesburg-Leesville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Batesburg-Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Pelion, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
