Volleyball Recap: Centennial Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Centennial barely beat Heritage the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans blew past the Coyotes 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won four contests in a row.

Centennial was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.

Alexis Anderson paced Centennial's offense, picking up ten kills. Anderson got some help from Madison Victoriano and her 31 assists. Anderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Centennial will face off against Independence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage, they will square off against Emerson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes are facing the Mavericks at the right time seeing as the Mavericks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
