Basketball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Temecula Prep Patriots and fell 80-40. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly 40 points.

Hamilton's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Gustavo Villalobos, who posted 14 points, and Mathew Torres-Osberg, who had 12 points.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Temecula Prep, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing San Jacinto Valley Academy the next time they take the court. Hamilton will host San Jacinto Valley Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Temecula Prep will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
