Basketball Recap: North Central Takes a Loss

North Central lost against Marshall back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Central Thunderbirds fell 58-51 to the Marshall Lions. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Marshall, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

North Central and Tri-West Hendricks will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, they will face off against Greencastle at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marshall knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Greencastle likes a good challenge.
