Sylvan-Lucas posted their closest win since September 13th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Logan/Palco. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Jayden Meitler paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up 12 kills. Meitler got some help from Lily Pancost and her 17 assists. Pancost was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Sylvan-Lucas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Logan/Palco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Sylvan-Lucas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Osborne on the 27th. As for Logan/Palco, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. John's/Tipton Catholic on the 27th.
