Washburn came out on top against Hancock County on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. The Pirates blew past the Indians 12-1. Considering the Pirates have won six games by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Riley Munsey made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
