Mountain Ridge is a perfect 10-0 against Fort Hill since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Miners will challenge the Sentinels at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

Mountain Ridge's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Southern 3-0. Considering Mountain Ridge have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Myla Bernard and Kylah Farris scored all three of Mountain Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Fort Hill was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Allegany, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Fort Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Allegany are ranked sixth).

Fort Hill dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mountain Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Mountain Ridge took their victory against Fort Hill when the teams last played last Tuesday by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
