Recap: St. Mary's vs. Grace Academy
St. Mary's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 71-30 loss at the hands of Grace Academy. St. Mary's has not had much luck with Grace Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Grace Academy to victory were Richmond McIver and Canyon Maxwell. McIver almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, while Maxwell scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. McIver hasn't dropped below two blocks for nine straight games. Hunter Maxwell was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
St. Mary's has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Grace Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-10.
St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Non Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m.
