Softball Recap: Weir Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Weir's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheeling Park Patriots on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Red Riders were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Weir and nudges their season record down to 21-6. As for Wheeling Park, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.

Coming up, Weir will take on John Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeling Park, they will be playing at home against Indian Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
