Soccer Recap: Frederick Christian Academy Falls to Covenant Life in First Game of Season

Frederick Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Covenant Life Cougars on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Frederick Christian Academy of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Frederick Christian Academy and Covenant Life will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Defenders see the pitch they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Covenant Life, their break will end when they face Greater Grace Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on September 9.
