Recap: Ballard Bulldogs vs. Chilhowee Indians
The Ballard Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 76-59 victory over Chilhowee. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cade Callahan was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Payson Hill, who scored 22 points.
The victory made it two in a row for Ballard and bumps their season record up to 3-15. As for Chilhowee, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Ballard won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kingsville at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Ballard is coming into the matchup with 14 straight victories at home, so Kingsville is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Chilhowee, they will head out on the road to face off against Appleton City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
