Basketball Recap: West Orange Gets the Win

The West Orange Mountaineers beat the West Essex Knights 54-41 on Tuesday.

West Orange's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for West Essex, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

West Orange will take on North Star Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Star Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Orange surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Essex, they will face off against West Caldwell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
