Softball Recap: Carrizo Springs Takes a Loss

Carrizo Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Tigers/Jaguars when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carrizo Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Floresville, their win bumped their record up to 7-13-1.

Coming up, Carrizo Springs will square off against Uvalde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Uvalde will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Floresville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Floresville is facing Pleasanton at the right time seeing as Pleasanton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
