Baseball Recap: Warren Takes a Loss

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gallia Academy Blue Devils. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Braylen Murray was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Gallia Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9-1.

Looking ahead, Warren will challenge Parkersburg South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallia Academy, they will take on South Point at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
