Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bishop Carroll Huskies. If Central were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Bishop Carroll when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Bishop Carroll, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central will face off against rival Richland at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bishop Carroll is set to take on their familiar foe Huntingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
