Softball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short

Robinson lost to Heber Springs last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Senators took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Mady Hokams made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Heber Springs, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-15.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Robinson will square off against rival Morrilton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Heber Springs is set to take on their familiar foe Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
