Basketball Recap: Woodlands Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sleepy Hollow on Thursday, Woodlands came back down to earth. The Woodlands Falcons fell just short of the Blind Brook Trojans by a score of 48-46 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Falcons have suffered since December 13, 2023.

Woodlands' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Woodlands will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yonkers Montessori Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025. Blind Brook will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Westlake on January 17, 2025.
