 Saucon Valley put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Palisades Pirates by a score of  7-4. That's more bragging rights for Saucon Valley, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Cole Hubert was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out 16 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Hubert has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts every time he's  pitched this season. Hubert was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Andrew Gilbert was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Thomas Ubriaco, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 On Palisades' side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Borgeson Greg, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Saucon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Palisades, their loss was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-3.
 Saucon Valley will take on Wilson Area at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Saucon Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game this season. As for Palisades, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Pen Argyl at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
