Baseball Game Preview: South Newton Rebels vs. Frontier Falcons

For the second straight game, South Newton will face off against Frontier. The Rebels will host the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for South Newton: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Frontier has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

South Newton lost 18-8 to Frontier on Tuesday.

Damon Cross was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Rayder Jennings, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for South Newton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
