Basketball Game Preview: West Melbourne Christian Academy vs. Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers

West Melbourne Christian Academy will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

West Melbourne Christian Academy is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Morningside Academy back in December of 2024 (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. West Melbourne Christian Academy lost 51-27 to Morningside Academy.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Melbourne Central Catholic, as they earned their first road win of the season. They had just enough and edged Odyssey Charter School out 32-29.

Melbourne Central Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points per game. As for West Melbourne Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
