Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Duchesne). They came out on top against the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 56-45 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pioneers with their most commanding win of the season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Titus Murrell, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jake Markham, who put up nine points and five boards.

Duchesne's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Duchesne nor Veritas Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
