Baseball Recap: Westerville North Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Westerville North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles by a score of 6-3 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles on Wednesday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Ethan Robinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He is becoming a predictor of Westerville North's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 5-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Robinson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Austin Heminger was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
