Soccer Recap: Fannin County vs. North Cobb Christian
Fannin County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the North Cobb Christian Eagles on Thursday. Stephanie Kirk was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.
The victory (which was Fannin County's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5. As for North Cobb Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Fannin County will square off against Fellowship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fannin County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season. North Cobb Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
