CAM put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Underwood Eagles with a sharp 20-1 win. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 10-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

CAM's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Underwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CAM will head out to face off against Essex on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Underwood, they will square off against Sioux City North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Stars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.44 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
