Volleyball Game Preview: Eastern Alamance Eagles vs. Williams Bulldogs

The Eastern Alamance Eagles will take on the Williams Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern Alamance will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Eastern Alamance will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Western Alamance, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors on Tuesday.

Eastern Alamance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Williams came up short against Southeast Alamance on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.

Williams' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Eastern Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Everything went Eastern Alamance's way against Williams in their previous meeting back in September, as Eastern Alamance made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
