The Covenant Preparatory School came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over the Founders Christian Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-43 back in January.

Founders Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jose Ramos, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Ramos is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sullivan Larson, who posted five points along with eight boards and three steals.

The Covenant Preparatory School's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Founders Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.

Coincidentally, The Covenant Preparatory School and Founders Christian will both be playing Lifestyle Christian the next time they take the court. The Covenant Preparatory School will head out to face Lifestyle Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Founders Christian will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
