Basketball Recap: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Tooele Buffaloes
Jordan won against ALA - West Foothills two weeks ago with 68 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Jordan Beetdiggers came out on top against the Tooele Buffaloes by a score of 68-58. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Beetdiggers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.
Leading Jordan to victory were Holden Warnick and Mason Tolley. Warnick went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points and four steals, while Tolley went 6 of 13 on his way to 16 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jackson Ostler, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tooele only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
Several Buffaloes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mason Heap, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Symonds, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 12 points.
