King/Drew lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Gardena, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 30-6 margin over the Panthers on Friday. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 14-12 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

King/Drew now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gardena, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King/Drew will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westchester at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Gardena, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Dymally at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
