Football Recap: Conant Falls Despite Big Games from Anabelle Danso and Arianna Dugo

Conant lost against Palatine on September 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars lost to the Pirates on the road by a 35-20 margin. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conant's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Arianna Dugo, who rushed for 129 yards and one TD while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and Anabelle Danso, who picked up 241 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, Danso is now averaging an impressive 107.3 receiving yards per game.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Palatine, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
