Basketball Recap: Lone Star's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Lone Star was the 62-41 winner over The Colony when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lone Star Rangers took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Colony Cougars. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lone Star's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-14. As for The Colony, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Lone Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-43 win against Newman Smith on the 14th. The Colony has also already played their next contest, a 63-9 victory against Turner on the 14th.
