Volleyball Game Preview: Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Cougars vs. North Hills Christian Eagles

Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy hasn't had much luck against North Hills Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy can't be too worried about heading out to take on North Hills Christian: they just beat Trinity Prep at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Cougars came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when North Hills Christian faced off against Pacific Union College Prep on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Falcons 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-6.

North Hills Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against North Hills Christian when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
