Softball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Augusta's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Bracken County Polar Bears on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Polar Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in March.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bracken County, they pushed their record up to 12-13-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Augusta will venture away from home to square off against Nicholas County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bracken County, they will host Pendleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
