Recap: Easley Green Wave vs. Berea Bulldogs
Even though the Easley Green Wave have not done well against the Berea Bulldogs recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Easley walked away with a 61-52 victory over Berea. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Easley.
Easley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Crews, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Drey Jackson, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Easley's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Berea, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easley will take on Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Easley in South Carolina (Greenville is ranked 24th, while Easley is ranked 134th). As for Berea, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
