Volleyball Recap: Silver Stage Comes Up Short

Silver Stage lost against Yerington back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Nighthawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Yerington, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Silver Stage will face off against rival Battle Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Nighthawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Yerington is set to take on their familiar foe Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The contest will also give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season.
