Volleyball Recap: Flagstaff Extends Winning Streak to Five

Flagstaff had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Mission Bay Buccaneers by a score of 2-0.

Lillian Hartman paced Flagstaff's offense, picking up ten kills. Hartman got some help from Grace Naleski and her six assists. Naleski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Flagstaff's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Mission Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Flagstaff and Mission Bay will both be playing Albany the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will head out to face the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
