On Saturday, Springdale faced Fayetteville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Springdale beat Fayetteville by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 69-64. Winning may never get old, but Springdale sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Springdale pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Fayetteville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.
