Basketball Recap: Webster Thomas Takes a Loss

Webster Thomas was the 47-34 winner over Gates Chili when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Webster Thomas' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gates Chili, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster Thomas will take on Brighton in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Gates Chili, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hilton at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
