Baseball Game Preview: Legacy Christian Academy Lions vs. Kings Christian Crusaders

Legacy Christian Academy is a perfect 5-0 against Kings Christian since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will take on the Crusaders at 3:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, Legacy Christian Academy made easy work of North and carried off an 11-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Lincoln Brown was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases and three runs. Those seven stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Parker Kirstine was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Kings Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Alpaugh on Monday. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Buffalos with a sharp 21-4 victory. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Buffalos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Kings Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-7-1.

Legacy Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Kings Christian in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 15-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
