Basketball Recap: Fishers Island Comes Up Short on the Road Against Rhode Island School for the Deaf

Fishers Island had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 46-21 to Rhode Island School for the Deaf. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rhode Island School for the Deaf apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Rhode Island School for the Deaf is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Fishers Island nor Rhode Island School for the Deaf have any future games scheduled.
