Redwood Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Drew Dragons on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Redwood Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Drew between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redwood Christian will face off against San Lorenzo at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Drew, they will take on Oakland Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
